A rare pink Iguana evades Darwin...(summary)

Scientists have recently discovered an Iguana that was first thought, by Darwin, to be the newest descendant in the Iguana family. As it has become appearent from the many DNA tests that have been conducted by scientists in the area, the Iguana subdivision is over 5.7 million years old. The Iguana has several new traits that are in contrast to the rest of the Iguana family such as its constant head bobbing that portrays the animal as dominant. Scientists also believe that this "new" extension has been around since before the Galapagos Islands were completely formed into the shape that they are today.
